Electrodermal activity (EDA)

The analysis of electrodermal activity consists of first manually editing artefacts and then second (optionally) a signal decomposition as suggested by Benedek & Kaernbach (2010). This decomposition extracts unsuperposed response components (a tonic component and a phasic driver) allowing for an unbiased quantification of SCR characteristics. Finally, the edited EDA and the calculated signals are stored in the database.

After the EDA analysis you can export arbitrary epoch statistics of the calculated signals, such as the area under the curve or the maximal SCL-value of a response window, using the general value export.
